Hey,

I finally got a hold of modafinil today, 100mg tablets. I hoped these would be able to clear my fatigue/brain fog for some special days like birthdays etc.

I started with 100mg at 9am on an empty stomach, by 10.30am I was feeling nothing so I took another 100mg.

By 12.30pm I felt a bit more stimulated, but not much - and my brain function was no better. It said I could use up to 400mg here, so I took two more 100mg tablets at 12.30pm.

I can't remember what time this really kicked in, but it ended up stimulating me A LOT. Blood pressure high, pulse is high, no appetite, my mouth is very dry and im tending to move my jaw and chew a lot.

The stimulation doesn't make me feel better, I can still feel my body is ill, but with the added effect of feeling very stimulated inside.

I was hoping it would maybe help my brain fog more than anything, but unfortunately not, and 400mg must have been too much for me once it all kicked in.

I'm not going to take them again but i'm sure they can be of help to some people at the right dose. I am looking for something to try clear my brain fog up.

I'm still very much stimulated at the moment, i've heard they can last quite a while in your system but I have ambien for tonight so I should be alright!

PS. Just adding its 6.30pm now and the very speedy feelings have died down a lot. I obviously took too much for my body, but I know now it won't be able to help with my brain fatigue.

I had a simular experience with Dexadrine. Sometimes it helps, sometimes its overstimulating and I'm left exhausted. I use it if I really have to do something. I can't use it 2X a day.

The liver has to break all this down, so milk thistle, dandelion, burdock, artichoke... will help your body get rid of any drug. Decrease the half-time.

I have an M50SV going strong for about a year and a half now comparable to the G51. I really like Asus laptops, pretty solid quality, excellent support all over the world, and reasonably priced.

I have taken 300-500mg per day without problem, except for insomnia, which is normal and disappears after a few days to take in the morning. So much for giving me a little euphoric, and seems to sweat more. But no heart problems. Modafinil did not have a good effect on my memory or other cognitive aspect, as far as I can see my test and the data that I recorded. I seem to have a slightly negative but not really great. I was expecting to have a positive impact on the basis of some studies I have seen, but it has not, and may even prevent some cognitive process for me. But then I test both short and long term memory. And It was finally found to be having slightly bad effects on my long term memory.
