Mea Culpa: Duh… Mr. Rogers is Not a Trained Killer

(The following is a letter we received following our posting "Think You Can Spot the Real Heroes?" in our July 2, 2008 newsletter:)

Dear Dr. Teitelbaum,

Your story about Lee Marvin, Mr. Rogers, and the other guy is 99% false. Mr. Roberts never served in the military and has no violence, nor tattoos, in his past. Lee Marvin was something of a hero but not as described. The other guy was a Marine as well but never saw combat. Try using Snopes before passing such stuff on.
