T-Wave Laundry Discs
The better way to cleaner washing — kind to your skin, your clothes and your wallet!
Product Brand: Safewash
Product Quantity: 3 Laundry Discs and one 32-ounce bottle of Tsunami Wave
Benefits:
The better way to cleaner washing, hypo-allergenic T-Wave Laundry Discs are also kind to your skin, your clothes and your wallet! And they're good for use in both front loading and high efficiency machines.
As some experts who have used them for a long time have noted:
"They are easy to use, save a good deal of money and from what we have observed extend the life of the fabrics. They also save a lot of ironing time in our household. And we never run out of detergent, bleach or washer sheets and toxic scents."
The T-Wave consists of three discs with two types of specially activated ceramic beads, which work along with magnets to enhance water's solvency. You simply put the discs in with your wash, and at the end of the cycle you have clean clothes. The ceramics and the magnets cause the water molecule to dissociate through an electrical process called "destabilization." Destabilization of the H+ (hydrogen) and OH- (hydroxide) ions causes the water to become super SOFT which is exactly what soap and detergents are supposed to do. The presence of the OH- ions maximizes the permeability of fabric and charges the clothes negatively, eliminating static cling. Crystallization of dissolved lime and phosphor is changed, preventing their reattachment to fibers. This results in soft clothes and gets rid of residual scaling in your washing machine. The discs will last for approximately 2 years and represent a tremendous savings over detergents. T-Wave costs about 7 cents per load. The typical laundry detergent costs around 35 cents per load. Heavily soiled clothes will need some pretreatment.
For more heavy-duty laundry, this kit also includes a whopping 32 ounce bottle of super concentrated enzyme-based (biological) stain remover—the more natural alternative to harsh detergents, bleaches, and chemical stain removers. (Please note that this product, which is called Tsunami Wave, was named many years ago by the manufacturer. No offense was ever conceived of or intended with regards to the recent disaster.)
A Note About Laundry Discs from Dr. T
A friend who is a health magazine editor mentioned about some plastic discs that one could put in their washing machine that would get their cloths clean with NO laundry soap. He's a good man and very bright, so I resisted the temptation to simply roll my eyes and walk away. When we met again, he had some articles showing that the ceramic balls simply changed the physics and chemistry of the water in the same way the soap did, which is actually why soap gets things clean. Initially this seemed like a weird idea, but when I looked into them more, the concept made sense. Despite being very skeptical, I decided to put the laundry discs through the hardest test I could—my wife. Laurie is a stickler for things being very clean and "just so." She's wonderfully skeptical, and few things pass her muster. I expected her to pitch them, and was happily surprised when she loved them. After she had tried these laundry discs, she only had one complaint: "Why don't they also make these for dishwashers?"
The clothes were at least as clean as they had ever been in the past (I think cleaner and fresher). We no longer use laundry detergent. Instead, we simply throw the pair of laundry discs in with the clothes, and use the discs over and over. They are supposed to be good for over 700 loads of laundry.
Clean clothes.
Clean water.
Less chemicals to react to.
Save money and the environment.
I don't usually carry non-supplement or book products in our web shop, but these are so awesome, I (and more and more other experts I know) have decided to carry them. This is a fun idea that seems to work very well. Makes my holiday shopping easier too, because I know what I'm getting everyone ;-)
