CFS/FMS Update; Dr. T on Good Morning America
Dear Readers,
Sorry that I have not had a chance to get out a newsletter the last few weeks, but we have been busy getting information out to the media, so people with CFS & fibromyalgia can get well now ;-)
I was recently in New York City doing shows on Good Morning America (watch the segment), NYU Medical School National Radio, the Martha Stewart Show and two different segments on FOX National News. This means that information about CFS, fibromyalgia and using natural remedies in general is getting out directly to the public, so we don't have to wait 30 years for the medical establishment to catch up. In fact, there are Holistic physicians all around the world learning to treat CFS/fibromyalgia, and Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center clinics all around the U.S.
I would also like to thank the folks in Savannah, Georgia and Winston Salem, North Carolina for their warm hospitality and enthusiasm. We had over 600 people come to my two talks. I also had a chance to teach physicians at Sue Vogan's excellent Lyme conference, and then taped a show on the nationally broadcast NPR show "The People's Pharmacy" with Joe and Terry Graedon, two of my favorite show hosts. It aired March 17th, but can also be heard online for two more months. Click here to listen to the show online.
In this week's newsletter, we will discuss new research with a focus on pain management, and also Restless Leg Syndrome. Next week, our main article will review how to eliminate fibromyalgia pain — so stay tuned ;-)
Love and Blessings,
Dr. T

JOKE OF THE WEEK
Frank Feldman (Our 1st Joke)
A guy walks out to the street and catches a taxi just going by.
He gets into the taxi, and the cabbie says, "Perfect timing. You're just like Frank."
Passenger: "Who?"
Cabbie: "Frank Feldman. He's a guy who did everything right all the time. Like my coming along when you needed a cab, things happened like that to Frank Feldman every single time."
Passenger: "There are always a few clouds over everybody."
Cabbie: "Not Frank Feldman. He was a terrific athlete. He could have won the tennis Grand-Slam. He could golf with the pros. He sang like an opera baritone, danced like a Broadway star and you should have heard him play the piano. He was an amazing guy."
Passenger: "Sounds like he was something really special."
Cabbie: "There's more — He had a memory like a computer. He remembered everybody's birthday. He knew all about wine, which foods to order and which fork to eat them with. He could fix anything. Not like me. I change a fuse, and the whole street blacks out. But Frank Feldman, he could do everything right."
Passenger: "Wow, some guy then."
Cabbie: "He always knew the quickest way to go in traffic and avoid traffic jams. Not like me, I always seem to get stuck in them. But Frank, he never made a mistake, and he really knew how to treat a woman and make her feel good. He would never answer her back, even if she was in the wrong; and his clothing was always immaculate, shoes highly polished too — He was the perfect man! He never made a mistake. No one could ever measure up to Frank Feldman."
Passenger: "An amazing fellow. How did you meet him?"
Cabbie: "Well, I never actually met Frank. He died. I married his widow."
Wise old Native American reflects on Daylight Savings Time (Our 2nd Joke)
"Only white man would believe you could cut off top of blanket, sew it to bottom of blanket and have longer blanket."
