Well there is! Here are two that you’ll find amazing (and which you can even show off to your friends ;-) and we’ll even offer a third one — although I wouldn’t try it!

...........................................
Just wanted to mention my own personal experience with sugar addiction.
In addition to my having had CFS with Type 2 sugar addiction myself (adrenal exhaustion with “Feed me NOW or I’ll kill you” moods), I also saw it at work in my first marriage.
It's amazing how much our moods are driven by sugar swings. When my former wife and I needed heavy counseling, my 5 year old son had it figured out. I asked him how he handled her moods so easily. He just smiled and said "When she's angry, I just feed her." He did the same with me. Amazing what kids know ;-)!

MORE ON BLOOD TESTING
Here's an article on saliva testing by Drs. Rich and Karilee Shames, two of my favorite thyroid specialists.

RESEARCH BRIEFS
Here are 2 more studies showing the importance of optimizing vitamin D levels. I find the 2nd article (reported on the BBC) to be especially encouraging. When I was on the BBC’s equivalent of the “Today Show” a few years back, I discussed the importance of getting sunshine to optimize vitamin D. When we spoke after the show, the host was laughing about how the BBC attorneys were yelling into her earpiece that “you can’t recommend sunshine on TV.” I guess “the times, they are a changin'!”
Vitamin D May Cut Elderly Heart Disease and Diabetes Risk (Nutra Ingredients)
Middle aged and elderly people with high blood levels of vitamin D may be at a 33% lower risk of developing heart disease, says a new review from the UK. Interesting, as cholesterol lowering medications only lower risk less than 2%! Read more »
Sunbathing Raises Men's Testosterone (BBC News)
An Austrian study of 2,299 men found that testosterone is boosted by vitamin D, which comes from sunshine. Treating testosterone deficiency can also have tremendous health benefits — while helping men to resume their position of being the “alpha dog” at work! Another good reason to remember “Avoid sunburn — not sunshine!” Read more »

JOKES OF THE WEEK
Kids Points of View
A man and his little girl were on an overcrowded elevator. Suddenly, the woman in front turned around, slapped him and left in a huff.
The little girl remarked, "That's OK daddy, I didn't like her either. She was stepping all over my toes. That's why I pinched her."
Minor Commandments
A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds.
After explaining the commandment to “Honor thy father and thy mother,” she asked “Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?”
One boy replied immediately, "Thou shall not kill.”
........
We thank Rose R for the jokes this week. She wins her choice of a free bottle of the Energy Revitalization System vitamin powder or Corvalen (Ribose)!
